About Sushil Lakhani, Proprietor, Lakhani & Associates

SUSHIL LAKHANI is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India with forty years of experience in the field of taxation. He had a bright academic career and was a rank holder in both -the Intermediate & the Final - C.A. examinations.

He has vast experience in the field of International Tax and has been involved in advising in structuring of a variety of cross border transactions. He has authored a publication titled "TDS on Payments to Non-Residents & Foreign Companies" for The Chamber of Income Tax Consultants, Mumbai. He has also co-authored a publication titled "EPC Contracts-A Monogram" for the Bombay Chartered Accountants' Society.

He was appointed in September,2011 as the sole representative of India Branch on the Executive Board of Central IFA, Netherlands. He is a member of the Executive Committee of IFA-India Branch and is presently the Vice - President of IFA-India Branch. He is also an active member of International Taxation Committee of Bombay Chartered Accountants Society, Taxation Committee of Indian Merchants Chamber and the Managing Committee of International Fiscal Association - Western Regional Chapter.

He has been a faculty at various courses & seminars in India and abroad of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (WIRC), Bombay Chartered Accountants Society, International Fiscal Association, Chamber of Income Tax Consultants and National Academy of Direct Taxation.
